DATA WE COLLECT

- Location Data: GPS speed, route, latitude/longitude, and altitude are used only during an active session.

- Motion Sensors: Accelerometer and barometer data (G-force for vehicle mode, altitude for other modes) are processed locally on your device.

- Session Records: Summary data from completed activities (duration, distance, max speed, etc.) is stored only on your device.

- Profile Info: Your name and profile photo (optional) entered in the app are kept locally on your device.

HOW WE USE YOUR DATA

Collected data is used solely for the following purposes:

- Display real-time speed, distance, and route information

- Calculate activity statistics and organize them in the history screen

- Personalize the in-app experience (mode, theme, and unit preferences)

THIRD-PARTY SHARING

Speedometer does not share, sell, or rent your personal data to any third party. The app contains no advertising SDKs or analytics tracking libraries.

Purchases are processed through Apple's App Store infrastructure, and all payment information is managed exclusively by Apple.

LOCATION PERMISSION

The app requires "While Using" location permission for GPS speed and route tracking. Background location access is used only while a session is active and is terminated when the session ends.

You can change location permissions at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy → Location Services.

DATA SECURITY & RETENTION

All data is stored locally on your device only (SwiftData). No data is sent to our servers. When you delete the app, all stored data is permanently removed.

YOUR RIGHTS
